Sparkling or distilled?

Instagram or tiktok?

Creative or uncreative?

You know you can be both right? I oftentimes get dms or questions on how I create my graphics or come up with content ideas - and it all comes from my noggin. 🧠

As a social media manager we’re expected to be proficient in strategy, trend forecasting, planning, and content creation (aka graphic design) & while you can totally master all of these things, it’s important to remember you’re not going to automatically be an expert at them…

Which is more than okay!

Being on Instagram can be pretty draining for any type of business owner - whether you’re a service provider, e-commerce business, or an influencer… you have or will compare yourself and your capabilities to another creative at point or another.

But I’m here to tell you that while you might feel like you’re falling behind in terms of learning every skill under the sun - you need to use that time and energy to freely create, find inspiration, and master your craft.

Being able to find inspiration in your own life rather than scrolling on the internet is the most powerful thing a creative can do!

Create without the expectation of monetizing it - that’s where you’ll realize you’re more creative than you expected.
